We're convinced you'll love it here at Taobh na Dachaidh. The pictures below hopefully give some flavour of the situation of the Cottage and its immediate surroundings.  Click on any image to see a larger version.

The buzzard shown here has been a regular visitor, surveying the area from the cottage chimney.  The views he can see might be those below.

Views of the cottage and beach, and views from the cottage.

Just around the corner is the little bay, Reraig.  You can walk along the lane, paddle around in a kayak (if you have one!) or walk through the woods and over the hill to find this delightful little corner.

If you are fortunate enough to have kayaks or a boat, then there are some great things to see within a few minutes paddling or sailing/motoring.

And if you are brave enough, the beach is a great place to swim from!  One of the things we like to do is to build temporary sculptures that we call 'Tens.'  They are made from piles of 10 stones, one on top of another.  There are plenty of rocks and stones on the beach that you can use to build your own 'Tens' then you can watch as the tide comes in around them.
